basic, can-free, salsa

1 and 1/2 lb diced fresh tomatoes
1 large minced jalapeno (remove the seeds if you prefer less heat)
1/4 of a sweet onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced or crushed
1/4 cup of fresh chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
6 or 7 cranks from the pepper grinder
lime juice from half a lime

Blend all the ingridents; done and done.

If you prefer thicker salsa, put the tomatoes in a collander to remove unwanted liquid.
